Hats off to the new Road Race champion Dave Peelo with a spirited over a new and very testing circuit on a 5 lap loop from the Beehive.
The new circuit to Lil Doyles and then climbing to Kilbride Church and back to the Beehive was an 8km route taken 5 times.
The runner Up was Andy Kavanagh with Cathy McCormack in third.
Next week we plan to hold L8 on the circuit from Gregory’s Garage starting at 7.30pm. There may be possible road works with chippings being laid on the coast road next week and so we will have to review that plan early next week if the council go ahead so check in before the night on the various platforms.
