- Ta Mags for the Garbhan's name. Now, in future on club spins you will refrain from playing will other members instuments……….that was Paul C's digeridoo, as for Andy's french horn……………well, that's his……hands off! If you do not behave and stick with your assigned instrument , you will be put on ….on….a tin whistle………a very tin whistle……as ye don't seem ta have a lot of air in yer lungs on those steep climbs!!………… Galileo(Galileo)Galileo(figrolls)

Andy's friends name is Garbhan (hope I've spelt it right ). Good spin, legs were heavy next day. Reckon it was carrying that digeridoo up all those hills!!

- Ah Stephen….yes, the group consisted of Enda and Brian on lead guitar, Aidan on Base, Andy on French Horn (PBP thing), Andy's friend (Mark?) got ejected for disagreeing with the roadies. POD had already resigned as manager and was seen chatting to another group called Ould-Axe (a right bunch of tradionalists). I was on Drums (200BPS), Paul C. and Mags were back-up vocals/ fiddle and digeriedoo and the lead vocalist on tour was Denis as he darted all over the stage, sweating and gasping, jumping ahead, rolling around, staggering backwards, as any front man worth his salt , should do and he did!!…………you better be back with your Big-Base Drumkit next week and return the groupies too or your fired!
……Blues Brothers anyone?

Thanks Paul for taking the spin for me and i'm sure the lads are thankful also. Sounds like you were on the magic mushrooms like youre youth floating around the hills. I thought you were a big advocate of Bikepure.
Was Paul C out aswell and who else, just interested in the numbers for the record.
Regards,
Stephen

- What a day………..it ended with me sinking into a bed of mollasses and dreaming of the epic days of old……me, Karl and Aidan singing our hearts out across the rolling Vale of Clara……….Is this the real life, Is this just fantasy? Caught in a land-slide, No escape from reality.Open you eyes, look up to the sky and seeee………….ah! 17 again!!!………..you see I had also watched an old "holiday movie" with me in it!! 16yrs old and a head of hair like a gorilla, white as a ghost splashing away in the surf of a Kerry beach……….anyway, the tour left the Glen and we waited near Quill Rd for Brian. Up to Rocky Valley across and down to Knockree. All was well until we climbed up to Johnny Fox's by the Devil's Elbow and it was a prelude for what was to come……………I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy. ……….up to Pine Forest Denis launched a flyer and the fan was well any truly hit. All the way to Glencree Enda and Denis battled away. A brief respite and then it all started again up by the two Lough Bre. This time Brian and Enda put the pressure on and fractured the group Me and Aidan putting up a brave show and Denis gasping across the gap…..I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me………….me and Aidan noticed a slight (tiny) drop in style from the two ahead (could be, they were going to crack, soon??)…………..I see a little silhouetteo of a man. Scaramouche, Scaramouche will you do the fandango? Thunder bolt and lightning, very very fright'ning me. Galileo (Galileo) Galileo (Galileo) Figero..Magnifico!……………yes, they would crack soon for sure! So we all regrouped and sped on for Sally Gap and raced down and across toward the last climb, Luggala. Enda and Brian stole away again. All of us chased. Aidan got on their wheels. Denis too but briefly
and I tried but all I got was Denis and Aidan ….Momma Mia let me go, Beelzeebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for meeeeee…….DA DA DA DAA………Nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me…… Anywhere the wind blows………..Freddy Mercury we salute you, R.I.P…….now where did I put my youth….ahh! there it is………..January 1976 ……All I need now, is a time machine and a workable paradox……wait 'till you see the young me, just wait. Hairy and fast!!
