I totally agree, better chairs for next year is a must!
But tough as we are, we sat it out this year!
Also, we got interrupted several times from people who were asking for the toilets……

- Last Sunday was an epic. A day of days. Men and women fought shoulder to shoulder on the cols of Dalkey and Wicklow (and not with each other). They bravely fought over the Dairygold Spread to make the fastest and most interesting sandwiches ever to be seen on a major cycling event. Outnumbered at times by swarms of ravenous cyclists they held the line. Battle-hardened veterans of this type of conflict, as they are, they remained cool and as wave after wave of cyclists invaded their positions , they, the heroes of Army group Sorrento prevailed. Calmly they issued orders and re-fulled/re-supplied under great duress. Pushed back on two fronts (occluded) they regrouped in Laragh and even though three malingerers PM / Mark and Linda
attempted to upset the well-planned strategy led by Claire and here subaltern Paul C, the battle was won……………..all were fed, pampered with freshly brewed coffee supplied by the brave Bradshaw siblings Corporals Patrick and Anne-Marie, even the wounded managed to reach sanctuary in Dalkey where the Clan O'Sullivan took over……………however there were casualties……Aidan and POD looked a bit shell-shocked (Age??) ………….this game is for young warriors like me and Stephen and Andy………….the three malingers are currently compiling a list of improvements that we noticed , could be made for next year……………for instance, we will require a …….how would you say…….yes!…………we require for next year : recliner chairs. fresh coffee on demand and a snappier re-supply of sambos…….otherwise we won't turn up to doss Oh Yeah! POD about those 5 litre recycled water containers………..I can't fit them in the bin ……….any suggestions?? …………………..well done all………..hardest day and biggest turn-out of members to run it…………..Mick loves you all.
