Went by main road and Cullenmore bends (met Ian Murphy here) to Ashford right to Glenealy right by Deputys Pass then right and straight up the hill Paddy Mackey had a puncture here. Right at top second left to Meetting of the Waters Alan Kilroy showed off his mountain bike skills in going straight on a hairpin bend instead of going around it luckily there was a run off. All spins need a bit of excitement dont they. Went by Ballinaclash to Greenan over into Vale of Clara i was delighted to see from out the back how everyone enjoyed the hill so much. On to Laragh Annamoe right, Alan went straight on by Roundwood home. straight through Tomriland and left over Championship course to Glen Roundwood road right down easy Devils Glen left and via Cullenmore bends straight through roundabout and right at Antique shop direction coast road then left over hill to Abwood into Newtownmtkennedy. Paddy, Paul Murray, Ian and Paul(Ashford) turned for home at Gregorys leaving me and Mr. Longforks. I was delighted to be able to test out the tearability of his jersey (and glad it didnt give also glad he wanted the extra training) to get me up the Glen into my car and home. The back roads were in terrible condition.
